About my blog …

I started FindingAmy in 2011 during a period in my life where I didn’t know where I going, or how I got to the point where I currently was at. Before 2011, I was married and living almost the perfect life until one day, I discovered that my ex-husband was gay, thus our marriage ended, and in many ways, my life began. After being with him for well over 10 years, I had to discover who I was again and FindingAmy became the platform on which I was able to document my journey. It didn’t take long to realize that I was a fun loving, witty, adventurous girl who loves to live life to the fullest. To this day, I am still discovering things about myself and growing. Today I think of FindingAmy as a place where I document my adventures, successes, failures, growth and change. It contains both random musing and stories and photos of my adventures.
